"I'm a F'in War Vet"

The final day of our roadtrip....yeah I know it was a short one but when you're hitting one town a day you tend to get tired from all that driving (Chin) or sleeping (Stev)...Plus we went to two places on this last day so that makes it better..

Anyways we headed out to Upland (somehow pronounced Up-Land) Indiana, and let me tell you the term "small town" was definitely coined here. Somewhere hidden in all this farmland and old buildings was a hidden institution by the name of Taylor, which housed a couple of Chin's old Wheaton high school chums. We got there  early so we gave ourselves a little campus tour, which took about 10 mins, then failed to use the school's wireless to update our blog. Once his buddy Fulton got out of class we went over to his apartment, which happened to reside above a rundown restaurant/pizza place/ old home type deal. and was around the corner from a run down tavern....yeah small town.....but we managed to grab lunch at a subway...yay for big business always finding a way to get involved.

Not much to say here we met up with another buddy, a girl, Nicole, and checked out her garage apartment....yup.

Many "Oh you know them too?!" passed and we finally headed back on the road towards Fort Wayne and IPFW...Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne...I'll let Chin explain that school to you....and we met with his Iraq War vet buddy Nick who is a really great guy.

We decided to make this night a Chill night and spent it eating half off pizza, watching the Cubs lose, drinking a couple beers, and listening to a few tales of the war, well not really but learned a bit about the politics and what not....Chin heard some job news also.
