"My ex girlfriend called me today..." "So you have Herpes?"

OneADay is a mini road trip blog brought to you by yours truly, Stev, and Chin...as we venture out into the midwest to visit some of Chin's wonderful Mexico buddies. This first post is a rough one so bare with us as we continue to improve our style and adventures.

September 6th,

We left Ann Arbor with high hopes and a three hour drive ahead of us...we arrived in Akron Ohio after being saddened by our missed opportunity of photographing the welcome to Ohio sign. Our first adventure, visit Angelo in Akron, Ohio, yes Ohio which in itself is full of people who hate Wolverines and apparently is a city full of Cops.

A couple things I learned from our first couple hours in Akron, I can be attracted to black girls ( Angelo's girlfriend is a very attractive girl), Ohio has native black squirrels, and Angelo's family pizza is GREAT. My hopes were high for the "One a day" theme

For our nightly festivities we headed to Akron's biggest Frat house, which was moderate in size by UM standards but still pretty nice. We purchased alcohol by way of a drive through liquor store which clearly I'm impressed by. I remember seeing these drive thru liquor stores when we had a meet here.

In the frat house our admission of being UM grads prompted some fairly salty looks, we all quickly put our differences aside and got along really well. Except this one girl who looked like maggie gyllenhall, she was supposedly a "sweetheart", but she had a major attitude when we talked to her. The pregame consisted of a 24 pack of bud light and some sips of "blue drink" which apparently had everclear, we didn't really drink enough of that to feel it tho. No games were played, we just sat around and watched replays of college football games from Saturday.

We headed to a small bar called pints where the jukebox was qued up with a bunch of country songs. When we got in, ben picked some hip hop out and it became this musical battle on the jukebox. Ben, being a well respected client of pints, picked up the tab which was only $8 for about 5 pitchers. Around 12:30 we left the frat boys and headed back to angelos car. I was confused because all these guys were saying bye to me and I hadn't realized we made plans to leave. Anyway, when we got home we pulled out the leftover pizza and just destroyed it, it was so good, even cold. Stev an I retired to the basement, where we were sleeping, so that Angelo and Nicole could have some alone time.

The next morning we awoke to a full breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. As we ate we watched the labor day telethon. Shortly thereafter we hit the road to pay a visit to Sandra in Bloomington.
